What is it about a great-fitting pair of jeans?  We've all rejoiced at that moment when we've slipped into a brand new pair of jeans that feel as though they were must 'just for you'.... or thrown on that ol' tried and true pair that have been washed and worn a million times!

Jeans have been around forever and sure, the styles, colours, designs change as often we change our socks.... but there is something about a great pair of jeans that never gets tired.

This week is National Women in Blue Jeans Week and we've been celebrating by hearing your stories about your favourite pair, how long you've had them, why you need a new pair....

Thanks so much to George and the gang at His "N Hers Fashions in Capri Centre Mall for stepping up to the plate with a GC for a brand new designer pair of jeans, valued up to $200!!  I had a nice visit with George and his store manager, Lesanne, and found out His "N Hers Fashions is one of the top sellers of jeans in the Valley and they really know their stuff.

I got to check out the "Oprah approved" Jag jeans....and "Not Your Daughters" jeans!  They are gorgeous and they even have brands that come complete with tummy tuck and bum lift features!  Yippee!!  I was blown away by how many different cuts and sizes they come in.  Honestly, there is something for everyone!!

Join us tomorrow morning, as we give you another chance to get your name in the draw to win a brand new pair of jeans from His "N Hers Fashions.  We'll open the phone lines from 545am-9am at 250-860-1015

Jean Give Away

My pet peeve are blue jeans. I could fit a pair of jeans nicely in my more youthful years. But as a menopausal woman, I think there is a conspiracy to drive us all crazier than we already are. Things just don't fit the way they used to. My body has rebelled against me. And though I fight to get into a pair of blue jeans these days, they just don't fit. They are designed for runway models. I zip them up (if I can) and they barely come up to my pubic bone. I give up and eat more chocolate in despair. On "casual day" at work I sob at the thought of putting my jeans on; I would rather wear a "mumu" - it would be so much more comfortable. So you can can see that my whole self-esteem would improve measurably if I just had a pair of jeans that actually fit my body again. And if it is good enough for Oprah, it is good for me. Yours truly Desperately Menopausal
