A Bonus For Beatles Fans!

Mon, 2009-12-14 10:46.
We were thrilled to announce this morning that "Rain", the award-winning Beatles tribute is coming back to Kelowna next Spring. Tickets go on sale for "Rain" this Friday, December 18th for the May 30th, 2010 show at Prospera Place. Be listening for your chance to pick up a pair of Beat the Box Office tickets all week long. CONGRATS to Paul B. who won the first pair this morning!!Now, we admit we don't know the Fab Four (and their legacy) quite as well as our Afternoon Announcer and Music Trivia God, Mark Jeffries. But we know enough about the Beatles to realize this will be ONE incredible show.
As described on the website http://www.raintribute.com/
"There are other acts who respectfully attempt to replicate a subset of the Beatles music, but only RAIN can perform the full range of the Beatles discography live onstage, including the most complex and challenging songs that the Beatles themselves recorded in the studios but never performed for an audience. No other rendition of the Fab Four's music comes close to this level of performance, which has taken years of mastery and attention to detail that is unmatched. From the early days of their appearance on the Ed Sullivan show in 1964, through the Sgt. Pepper era and on to the Abbey Road years, RAIN's performance captures it all flawlessly."
Sounds incredible! Again tickets for "Rain" go on sale this Friday, but you'll have another chance to win a pair tomorrow morning. Just tune in to "Andy and Tj in the Morning" on 101-5 SILK FM between 6 and 9 am. Good luck all you Beatles fans!!!
