Help Joel Help Fight Cancer! (Nov 24)
You may recall at the start of the season, Warriors Co-Captain Joel Woznikoski pledged $2 of his own money for every goal the Warriors scored in the first 30 games of the 2009/10 season to be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society.
The Warriors are now 28 games into the season and have scored 122 goals to date. They have a home game on Thursday November 26th vs the Salmon Arm Silverbacks and then Friday's away game in Vernon against the Vipers will wrap up the 30 game challenge. Joel and the Warriors are encouraging local fans, organizations, and supporters to join in on the fight against cancer and donate to the Canadian Cancer Society.
